Please read this information and apply using the application form below.
What we can fund
The maximum we can award in this round is £1,500 per organisation and we would like to encourage a wide range of bids from a minimum of £500.
We are keen to fund projects that build capacity of VCFSE organisations. This could be:
- resources to develop a communications strategy or a new website.
- to fund a feasibility study or research before a new project is introduced.
- to purchase equipment that will enable the organisation to support more people or deliver new services.
We will fund capital and revenue expenses.
Capital expenses may include, for example:
- IT equipment to enable beneficiaries to access on-line support groups.
- A display stand or equipment to promote the organisation at local events.
Revenue expenses may include:
- Support for fundraising, communications or marketing.
- Volunteer expenses.
- Funding research to measure the impact of your work.
What we cannot fund
- Projects outside the district boundary of Blackpool.
- Any activity that does not build the capacity of the VCFSE sector of Blackpool.
- Statutory activities/requirements that either the Council or another public-sector organisation is responsible for delivering.
- Alcoholic refreshments.
- Projects that specifically benefit private businesses.
- Political activities, lobbying or campaigning.
- Retrospective requests for activities that have already taken place
All successful organisations will need to produce an outcomes summary demonstrating the funding has been used as intended.
All applications need to be submitted by 5pm on Friday 13th December 2024 to be considered in this round of funding.
